“…to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived – that is to have succeeded” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
It’s a motto we choose to live by. So we use the finest organic oils and essential oils available. Not only is that better for your skin, it’s better for the environment, the soil and the farmers working the soil. We carefully choose combinations of oils that are nourishing and moisturizing but still provide the lather that cleans and feels so luxurious.
We choose not to use palm oil in any of our products. Palm oil is the primary cause of deforestation of world’s remaining rain forests and the main cause for the loss in habitat for the world’s remaining orangutans. Although there is palm oil that is certified as having been produced on farms that did not clear-cut rain forest, the demand far exceeds the supply and therefore any additional demand causes an increase in deforestation of rain forest.
Palm oil is a nice, inexpensive oil. But those characteristics can be obtained with other oils if you are willing to do the research. We have done the research and provide a full product line free of palm oil. Please join us here at Nature’s Nuance LLC in avoiding the use of palm oil.
We happily label our products with the complete list of ingredients. Nothing to hide here. If you look closely, you’ll find that you can pronounce all of our ingredients because they are all real, natural items. And all of our soap labels are printed on 100% recycled paper. Our shipping containers are reused when available and our packing materials are either reused or recycled. Whenever reasonable, product containers are either glass or metal to ensure that they can be more readily recycled.
Please join with Daniel and me here at Nature’s Nuance in reusing and recycling to ensure that our children and grandchildren can also enjoy this amazing world.
